One advantage of all elobau safety systems is their compact design. This means that they only require a small amount of space in the control cabinet and thus enable costs to be saved. The systems are protected against tampering due to the customer-specific defined and validated configuration by elobau. The simple identification of the configuration also enables uncomplicated and safe commissioning and maintenance of the systems.

Safety relays evaluate the information from connected sensors and immediately forward it to the higher-level safety system. In doing so, the relays from elobau have separate safety and control outputs and support the high industry standards Ple and SIL 3, ensuring maximum reliability and safety. The eloProg base modules can also be used as stand-alone devices. In this case, customers receive a completely configurable evaluation unit for safety functions with up to 8 safety inputs and 2 safe, redundant semiconductor outputs. Desired functions can be configured on the PC and uploaded to the base unit via USB interface or memory card slot. Fieldbus modules can be used to integrate the configurable safety systems from the elostore into networks such as Ethernet IP, EtherCat, Profibus DP, Profinet, Device Net or CANopen.

Up to 14 expansion modules can be connected to the base units, depending on the version. Cascading with several modules enables the monitoring of numerous safety functions. Thanks to their screwless terminals, the interface modules are quick and easy to install. Status LEDs and control outputs enable easy monitoring and diagnosis of the systems.
